Friends for the Elderly

Volunteering for hospice is a meaningful way to make a difference in the lives of others.

Be a friend to our elderly hospice patients and their loved ones.

Most of our patients are alone in their homes with no one to engage with.  They desperately need kind, compassionate individuals to spend quality time with them talking, listening or just hanging out.

Some patients are cared for by their loved ones, but even loved ones need a break.

As a volunteer you could allow the caretaker to go to an appointment or run some errands.

An hour or two per week is all that is needed to help make a difference in our patients' lives.

Join our growing team of volunteers and learn just how rewarding it can be to become a friend to the elderly.

For more information call us at (210) 239-7598 and ask for our Volunteer Coordinator.
